This is where the "action" is according to the xenophobic traveler. All the beers here are at least 5 lira and the streets were littered with so many Westerners I thought there was going to be hoe-down.
Mike (Kiev) had it right when he said fuck the hostels and touristy things. Though, I would like to stay at a hostel for at least a night or two in each country because it's cheaper!
Hostel : pay for hostel and cheap ass food and cheap drinks
Couchsurfing: free, but entertainment will be much more fun, food will taste better and all that...but you'll also be paying more.
